HE WAS THE FIRST TO ACHIEVE 200, 210, 220, AND 230  MPH ON A TOP FUEL MOTORCYCLE.  HE WAS THE HEART, SOUL, AND INSPIRATION FOR THE ENTIRE MOTORCYCLE DRAG RACING INDUSTRY.  ELMER TRETT WAS PERHAPS ONE RUN AWAY FROM HIS GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT - A FIVE SECOND RUN.  HIS 6.06 SECOND, 235.10 MPH LIFETIME BEST PERFORMANCES ARE SALUTED IN THIS ORIGINAL PORTRAIT BY MOTORSPORTS ARTIST RON BURTON.

REMEMBERING ELMER TRETT

Indianapolis motorsports artist Ron Burton has just completed a spectacular painting commemorating the extraordinary lifetime acievements of Top Fuel Motorcycle pioneer Elmer Trett.  Burton has released all rights to the painting to the Elmer Trett Memorial Fund and, with the help of Indianapolis Raceway Park, has produced 235 numbered and signed prints in recognition of Trett's 235 MPH AMA/Prostar speed record.  All proceeds, less shipping, will benefit the Elmer Trett Memorial Fund.  To order your numbered lithograph print of "Godspeed Elmer Trett" send $85.00 in check or money order payable to:
