Super Crossover

Dedenbear Super Crossover

The most advanced crossover box ever made. It's lighted LCD readout displays dial ins, delay settings, and race mode that displays all settings for quick review. The Super Crossover also features a built in interfacer which allows you a second chance at the tree. Launch on his tree and your tree and the Super Crossover picks the best leave.  It displays which "hit" took the launch and by how much.  A new feature of the Super Crossover is crossover compensation. This subtracts a pre set amount of time from your delay when you cross over. This compensates for a glancing view of the opponents bulb.

Dedenbear Crossover Delay Box

Dedenbear's new Cross-Over RTD allows bracket racers to leave on either side of the tree.  No longer must you sit at the starting line, trying to concentrate on your tree, while a slower opponent speeds away. Setting the box is quick and easy with three sets of pushbutton switches. The quicker racer enters both dial-ins, along with the desired delay (if any). When he releases the launch button on his opponent's light, our CrossOver Box calculates the handicap, adds the delay, and releases the trans brake at precisely the right time. Or, if you should draw a quicker opponent, a built-in toggle switch lets you cancel the cross-over feature and use the unit as a standard delay box.  Dedenbear also supplies a separate "no-delay" switch that bypasses the delay box entirely.  Dedenbear's Cross-Over Box is manufactured with the same safety features, filtering system and quartz crystal timing that have made our RTD-7 the winningest delay box in history. Step-by-step instructions and wiring diagrams are included.  Inside view of Model CO- 2 reveals the incomparable engineering and craftsmanship of Dedenbear electronic products.

Dedenbear Throttle Stop Controller

Designed as an engineered package with our throttle stops, model TSC2A provides optimum control over any brand of throttle stop. Dual-stage control of your throttle stop lets you launch at full throttle (for lowest reaction time), reduce power at mid- track (for any duration desired), then resume wide-open throttle (for the top-end charge). Both timers are activated off the line, with the release of your clutch. Unlike other brands of controllers, the Dedenbear TSC2A is specially engineered to start both timers simultaneously, rather than sequentially. With competitors' controllers, a change to the first timer's setting also affects the sec- ond timer's setting. This un- fortunate situation violates a basic rule of drag racing: Make one change at a time! Consequently, the dual timers of Dedenbear's TSC2A are specially designed to remain independent. When you change the setting of timer one, our second timer retains its original setting. The circuits required of such a design are much more difficult to create and manufacture, but this is really the only correct way to build a multistage timing device. Typically, our customers set the first timer at .3-second to 1.5 seconds, ensuring a strong launch before the throttle stop engages and cuts horsepower. The second timer is set to open the throttle stop at mid-track, allowing the bike to pick up as much as 15-20 mph for the top-end charge.

Racers equipped with too much horsepower for the trac- tion available can utilize the TSC2A as a simple, scientific method of reducing tirespin off the starting line. Now, a racer who spins his tires in one or both lanes can set the Controller to launch under part-throttle, then open up the carb once the vehicle is underway. Dedenbear's exclusive quartz-crystal timing ensures "right-on" accuracy and repeatability with any ignition system. Moreover, the unit cannot be affected by "scram- blers." Our all-printed-circuit construction and special ignition-noise filters eliminate the vibration and interference problems associated with inferior designs. Compact and simple to install, requiring just 4 wires, the TSC2A is wired with standard 10 or 14-gauge wire. A single output wire connects to your throttle stop and a built-in switch allows you to change the sequence of the output. We provide complete wiring diagrams to help you set up exactly the system you need.

Dedenbear Reaction Time Delay

Simple to install, the RTD-7 splices into your existing two step or Air Clutch circuits. The box can be mounted in any position; even upside-down . No special wiring or batteries are required. Dedenbear's exclusive ignition-noise filters permit use with solid-core plug wire and all types of ignition systems, including magnetos. The RTD's 50-amp capability will easily handle any device manufactured. Dedenbear's quartz-crystal timer ensures optimum accuracy under all conditions. Four pushbutton thumbuvheels let you quickly select any delay up to 9.999 seconds. If no delay is desired, a separate toggle switch bypasses the RTD entirely, shutting down the delay circuits. For added safety during and after each run, a built-in safety circuit cuts off power to the RTD once the trans brake has been released.  Dedenbear's is the only design that puts a full 12 volts to the trans brake, with no voltage dropthrough the delay box. A complete wiring diagram and delay-setting tips are included with the detailed directions.
